龍流 용의 흐름 이번 전시는 창작과 대중성의 대립과 조화를 나타내고, 작품이자 문신이 될 것을 표현하는 바를 설명한다. 대중은 보편적이라 할 수 있고, 그것을 인간으로 지칭한다. 하지만 각자 개인으로 접근했을 때는 보편적이라 말할 수는 없다. 이러한 간단한 이중성에 대한 시각으로 문신과 그림을 보았을 때, 아이러니함이 생긴다. 문신은 대중적이다. 세계 어느 곳, 오랜 시간 전부터 다양한 형태로 그것의 행위가 나타난다. 그것은 상징성을 내포하기도 하지만 개인의 일탈행위 정도로 치부되기도 한다. 문신업에 있어, 그 주체를 용으로 정한데에는 앞서 말한 이유와 연관이 있다. 용은 어느 곳에 나 존재하지만 그 실체는 없는 것이다. 하지만 용은 대게 긍정적인 상징성을 띄고 있다. 용을 매개체로 문신에 적용하게 된다는 것은 인간 (대중)에게 용 (창작)을 새김으로써 그것의 이중적이면서도 아이러니한 대립에 대하여 약간의 조화를 추구함이다. 모든 용은 창작으로 그려진다. 조화를 추구하기 위해서는 기존에 없던 시각으로 바라보아야 한다. 대부분의 용은 가장 흔한 틀에 갇혀있지만 그것들의 새로움은 누군가에게는 새로운 방향성을 제시할 것이다. 그리고 기존에 볼 수 없던 새로움으로 다가가는 것을 생각한다. 그것들은 온전히 존재하지 않았고 각자의 용(개인)은 다르고 특별하다. 그렇기에 용을 다듬고 새로운 방향성을 탐구하고 제시하는 것이 모든 대립이 조화로 가는 하나의 계단이라 생각한다. Dragon Wave This exhibition expresses the confrontation and harmony between creation and popularity. The public is universal. Express what is popular as a human being. However, it cannot be said to be universal when approached as an individual. When you look at tattoos and pictures from the perspective of this duality, irony arises. Tattoos are popular. Tattoos have existed in various ways since a long time ago. It is also symbolic. It is also seen as an individual deviant behavior. There is a reason why the subject of tattoos was chosen as a dragon. A dragon exists everywhere, but it does not have its substance. However, most dragons have positive symbols. Applying the dragon to tattoos gives the public novelty and pursues its harmony. All dragons are drawn by creation. In order to pursue harmony, things must be viewed from an unprecedented perspective. Most dragons are trapped in the most common frames, but their novelty will present a new direction. They did not exist, and each personality is different and special. Therefore, each must refine himself and explore and present new directions.
